Parent-adolescent relationship is one of the major factors that determine a child's personality. As adolescents go through a transitional phase of growth and development between childhood and adulthood they find difficulties in meeting their emotional needs with their parents. With parents playing an important role in guiding, disciplining and socializing the children, it is essential to focus on parent- child relationship and its role in building self-efficacy and psychological well-being among them. The main aim of this study is to identify the degree of influence parent-child relationship has on self-efficacy and psychological well-being of adolescents. The mediating effect of self-efficacy on parent-child relationship and psychological well-being is also examined. Adopting
descriptive research, a tool named Parent-Adolescent Scale has been constructed for this study.
